Hello June!

                                                 Happy June Lovelies

Can you believe it's June already??? It's was literally the 1st of May two minutes ago!

I always find June to be such a fresh month full of events, things to do - I'm not biased because it's my birthday but it does make things much more exciting. I love going all out for my birthday celebrations.

I will post an updated party planning blog and let you know what I've been up to (5 days to go eek!!!!)

This month will be all about makeup that you can wear in warm weather because there is nothing worse than wearing makeup that makes your face feel cakey due to the heat or in some cases does not stay and literally melts off; summer nail polish colours; summer beauty and fashion inspo.

Some of my favourite things about June:

- The evenings are longer
- The weather (hopefully) warms up but in fairness we're quite lucky as Ireland has got a beautiful, roaster of a summer the last few years.
- Festival fashion rolls around
- Summer fashion inspo starts coming into shops
- Late nights in the sun making memories
- Random trips
- I love changing my Skincare routine and discovering new products as summer can dry my skin out a little bit - so I need to look after it more so but I love that.
- Skin and hair get lighter - I feel like my skin gets a healthy glow to it when I'm out and about in the heat but protecting it is key.
- I always experiment with recipes and drinks during summer as I have more time.

June is so special to me - for several reasons. So its definitely a month to be celebrated.

Enjoy June, make memories, laugh a lot, stay out late, relax on the beach, put your hair down and all the cheesy sayings that have to be done hehe.

Until next time beauties,

Favourite Budget Lipsticks

Hi dolls,

It's about 12 days to my 21st so I'm currently looking at different makeup looks and I'm trying to decide whether or not to go for a bold or neutral lip as my dress is white with small little coloured flowers around it I could pretty much do anything.

So I've decided to do a blog about my favourite lipsticks on a budget. I want to show you a small handful of my favourite brands - one of each but I have so many colours in each one. The prices range from €1.50 to €12 so perfect for any budget price range. 💄

From left to right I have:

1. W7 full colour lipstick - I love the pale pinks and at €3.99 it's worth it. It doesn't have a very strong lasting powder but it's lovely to pop in your bag and you can too it up as the day goes on.

2. The next one in my list is from Penneys. It's like a magenta pink. I saw it and thought I have to try this out it and at€1.50 I definitely couldn't say no.

3. This next lipstick is from Inglot and it is €12.99. It's so creamy and long lasting. It has amazing pigmentation. It glinds onto the lips. I feel like they're just as good as MAC lipsticks but at a lower price.

4. The next lipstick I've included is one from the Kate collection from Rimmel. They're my favourite lipsticks as they have a brilliant staying power, variety of colours and the colour give off is fab. €6.99 avaliable from pharmacies and boots.

5. I thought I'd break up the pink trend (I have so many different shades of pink) and show you a peachy orange - this lipstick is from the WetnWild lipsticks. I have a countless amount of these lipsticks and in so many colours. They're brilliant. I wear them as day time lipsticks or for night outs. They have a brilliant lasting power - great for €4.99. You an them in Penneys, Dunnes and pharmacies.

6. This one is from the Sleek range. It's very like the W7 lipstick - down to the texture and colour. I love it. The packaging is very slick and small. It's priced at €6.49 and you can pick it up from Boots and pharmacies nationwide.

7. The last one is from Essence. Their nude lipsticks are amazing aswel as their bold colours. I've mentioned several of their lipsticks on my Facebook page. I have also reviewed this on a YouTube video I did on my friend Linda's Youtube channel check -

That's it for now beauties. If you've tried and tested any of these lipsticks I hope you got on well.

Haul Time

Hey guys,

I wanted to share some recent bits I picked up from boots. I saw a 3 for 2 in boots on Maybelline and I've left off getting these products for so long so I thought it was the perfect opportunity to get two and one free.

So I picked up: the Instant Anti Age the Eraser Eye concealer; the Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser and the Colour Tattoo 24hr in Pink Gold.
I've heard so much about the Maybelline eye concealer from bloggers, XPOSE etc. So I thought it was about time I picked it up for a try. I find it the perfect texture and colour for highlighting/concealing. As I've said in my mememe concealer review I'm particular about concealers as some can look cakey or stick to some slight dry bits I have. Like the love/hate relationship with the MAC pro longwear concealer. But this concealer is light and blends so easily. The only downside is the sponge for the obviously hygienic reasons but this is a gorgeous concealer. I'd highly recommend it.

The next item I picked up is the Baby Skin pore eraser - this is another product that has always been raved about especially by my fabulous friend and blogger Linda pop over to her blog with a cup of tea for a great read. I initially went in to get this product alone but then the 3 for 2 got me!! It is a clear product - I have pores on my nose and I find it good for smoothing them out before putting my foundation on - I find it makes a difference.

The next item I picked up was a product I've seen so many youtubers use it is. This is the Maybelline Colour Tattoo 24hr in pink gold. It is a pink shadow with gold undertones my favourite type of colour. I love pinks so I find this is gorgeous when I use it with the Naked 3. I pop this on after my primer and then use the bake palette I feel like it makes the colours pop. I love it, it's such a pretty colour.

On the same day I picked up this cute little flower make up bag for €3.99 in H&M a great size for popping in the handbag.

Until next time beauties,

Product Of The Week

Hi dolls,

I thought I would start a new segment on my blog: Product of the Week. Each week I'll feature a product be it a new product or something I use all the time. It'll be posted every Sunday besides this one which us an exception.

This weeks product of the week to kick things off is the Urban Decay Flushed Contour palette which I featured in my April favourites http://wonderstruck-beauty.blogspot.ie/2015/05/april-favourites-goodbye-april.html?m=1

I had a great experience with the girls in Urban Decay Cork located in Debenhams. I asked for dewy, full make up - I asked for a slight smokey rose pink eye with the Naked 3. The make up artist did an amazing flawless job. Unfortunately the foundation just didn't suit me at all but that's for another blog day. Anyway she used this palette to finish off my skin and I loved it instantly.

It blends so easy, great colour - the contour is not too light or dark, the highlight is beautiful and the blush is so pigmented and a gorgeous corally colour.

It's a favourite of mine. I use it everyday in my make up routine perfect for everyday makeup.

Until next time beauties,

April Favourites; Goodbye April

Hey dolls,

Can you believe its May already?? April flew it was a jam packed month but it was so much fun. Well I have to include some April favourites.

My first favourite of the month is the Naked Urban Decay Flushed palette in Streak. It's a contour palette and an amazing one at that. I picked it as one of my two products when I got my makeup done in UD during April for a confirmation/my boyfriend's birthday. I absolutely love it - so easy to blend, the perfect colour not too light or dark, the blush is a a rosey pink it is fab and the highlighter is so pigmented and it gives a lovely glowy finish.

I picked up this 'Gel' polish in Penney's the other day for 2 euro - I love the shine finish it leaves and the colour perfect for summer.

I've been using the Naked 1 the last week and I've got my love back for it. I'm hitting pan on a good few of these but I did get it when it was my 19th birthday so I've had it nearly 2 years. It's full of browns, coppers and a few dark shades its gorgeous for any occasion.

I have been using this illuminator for months now and I prefer mix it in with my foundation. It gives the most gorgeous, dewy look on the face. It photographs absolutely amazing. It makes your skin flawless and glowy. You can get it from boots or any boots shop.

I know this has been mostly Urban Decay based favorites but I love love love the Naked 3. I love the rose, pinks, gold undertones and darker colours its actually my ideal palette. I use this for work, nights out and even got one the girls to use it on me when I got my make up done with UD.

I hope you enjoyed reading my (mostly UD based) favourites and enjoy May lovelies x

Until next beauties,

A x
